Interior Design & Custom Furnishings
Interior design is our signature service. Whether transforming a single room or reimagining your entire home, we collaborate closely with you to create spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful—places where you truly want to be. Our comprehensive approach weaves together every element—from paint colors and drapery to flooring, furnishings, bedding, and lighting—into a cohesive vision. We carefully balance color, texture, and mood to craft interiors that feel both fresh and timeless.
Virtual Atelier
Virtual Atelier includes all the magic of TKR design & expertise, and allows the client to implement design at their own pace. This is a great option for smaller spaces like powder & guest bathroom renovations, or space planning and fabric selections for a living or bedroom. We connect for an initial creative session, then get to work on a customized scheme and a plan you can bring to life as time and budget allows.
New Build & Renovation
Building or renovating is an exciting opportunity to create something truly personal. We collaborate with you and your builder from the earliest stages, ensuring every design decision works together seamlessly. Our goal is to help you navigate the process with confidence, resulting in a home that feels cohesive, timeless, and entirely your own.

Discover
We will often begin with a chat on the phone to establish the general goals & scope of the project and to set up a time for our initial consultation. Our first in-person, on-site meeting is our chance to talk about style, colors, function, inspiration. Amanda will take measurements and get a better idea of what the end goal is for the space. If you have photos of spaces you love, this is a great time to pass those on.

Create
Once she has a clear understanding of client needs and desires, Amanda will get to work on design. Fabrics are chosen, floor plans drawn, furniture selected. There will be another client meeting or two to discuss the initial design plan and to make changes and finalize selections. Creation takes 4-6 weeks depending on scale. Larger projects often begin with prioritized rooms and move through the home room by room.

Implement
This stage includes full project management including ordering and managing shipping and delivery of all fabrics, furniture & fixtures. It includes trade management, various installations including window treatments, lighting, furniture, wallpaper.... whatever the project demands. Implementation requires the most time and depends on the scale of the project. It generally ranges from 3 to 6 months.

Sourcing & Ordering
Accessorizing involves all those little touches that make the space feel complete. It includes smaller items like throw blankets, books, smaller art pieces, etc. It’s great to plan for the cost of these items at the start of the project to help ensure that they make it into the budget. At the client’s discretion, we can set aside an appropriate amount at the beginning of the project to cover the cost of these items at the end of the project.

There is no comparison between draperies from a box store and fully custom window treatments made to fit your home perfectly. Our aim is to make it as easy as possible for you to bring luxury home.
